6TH ANNUAL LIGHT UP THE LODGE
December 6 - December 8
We’re kicking off the holiday season at The Lodge in a big way with our 6th annual Light Up The Lodge event in December! This action packed weekend will be fun for all ages.
We’ve also added more holiday activities on Saturday, December 14th.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2024
Wreath Decorating* | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Guests will start with a simple 12-inch green wreath, choose from an array of festive accents and décor, and finish with a bow! Everyone will leave with a beautifully decorated holiday wreath to hang on their door.

- Two time slots will be available: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Holiday Ale Tasting Dinner | 7:00 PM
It’s the cure for what “ales” you! Taste the flavor of the holidays with this special Holiday Ale Tasting Dinner here at The Lodge at Geneva. Enjoy a one-night stay, plus an unforgettable dining experience with various Holiday Ale pairings from different breweries, and more! Our Holiday Ale Tasting Dinner Package includes:
- Overnight accommodations for one night
- Entrance to our Holiday Ale Tasting Dinner at 7:00 PM
- Breakfast the following morning in Horizons Restaurant

Special Hours for Horizons Restaurant
On December 7th only, Horizons Restaurant and Lounge will be open during the following hours. Dining reservations are highly recommended. To reserve, please call Horizons at 440-466-7100, option 2.
- Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Lunch: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Dinner: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Lounge: 11:00 AM – Close
Gingerbread House Decorating Contest* | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Each team is provided with a house and everything needed to decorate! No outside items permitted.
- Price per Team/House: $50 each. To reserve, please click the button at the top or bottom of the schedule.
- Participants can decorate their house in one of the following timeslots on Saturday, December 7th: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM; 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM; 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM; 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Judging will take place after 6 PM, with the winners announced on Sunday, December 8th. Gingerbread Houses will be judged by The Lodge’s culinary team, and winners will be chosen for Best In Show, Most Creative, and Most Festive. Winners will receive a $100 voucher toward lodging, dining, or retail at The Lodge.
Elves Craft Workshop*
- 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Painted Rock Tic-Tac-Toe – $15.00
- 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Christmas Ornaments (package of 2) – $15.00
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Plaque with Painted Rocks – $15.00
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Snowman Door Hanger – $20.00
Horse Drawn Carriage Rides | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
No reservations required! The carriage will hold up to 15 people.

Holiday Sip & Paint* | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Christmas Carols | 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM
The Geneva High School Choir will be singing out by the Christmas tree from 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM to get us all in the holiday spirit before the tree lighting.

Outdoor Tree Lighting | 7:00 PM
Santa Claus is making a special appearance to light the Christmas tree in front of The Lodge at 7:00 PM!

Storytime with Mrs. Claus | 7:30 PM
Join Mrs. Claus in The Lodge lobby for some classic holiday tales, followed by a holiday movie!

Photos with Santa | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Santa himself will be at The Lodge for any guests who would like to take photos with him, or drop off your Christmas List!
