I sent my parents to the Lodge for their 30th anniversary and am so completely blown away by the impeccable service from beginning to end of the booking and their stay that I had to recommend them as one of the premier places in the northeast of the U.S. to visit. My husband & I visited the area in early spring this year and especially loved touring the wineries. We stayed at the Lodge in a very quiet & comfortable, pet-friendly, King room overlooking the lake. We found every employee that we encountered to be extremely helpful, friendly & professional. We are planning another visit to the area in the near future & wouldn´t think of staying anywhere else!

GV CLASS OF 69 REUNION Cannot thank the Lodge and staff enough for making our 40th a wonderful, easy going and accomadating reunion. We were a group of fifty, the Chef offered us a wonderful menu and the service was top notch. The rooms were very nice and the view .......the view....it was a hilight!!! What a "dimond in the rough" we were told about when we asked the locals where was a great place to stay overnight and have a good dinner after our inital trip to Bluestone Pernnials was done. If we had planned this stay in advance, I know we couldn´t have planned it any better then this! Accomodations were great, the room was large enough and clean, plus the dinner was fantastic! We also were pleasantly surprised when we signed up for the wine tasting tour and had Tristan to drive us around! Very nice young man! I also want to tell you how helpful Robin in the gift shop was to us and you can sure tell how proud she is of her home town! She was great..thanks Robin! Then to top things off, we had a wonderful breakfast to send us on our way the next morning! So our overall stay was exceptional and will keep this place on my list of re-visits! ~Cheryl G., MI
Just a very nice place to visit and stay, whether it be in mid-summer or early spring (as my last visit). Winery´s, Grand River with its old covered bridges or simply exploring the lake front or strolling on the "strip" are wonderful experiences. Spent an entire day below the dam at Grand River while my twin 12-year-old boys explored the shallows and played in the river. As city kids they don´t have that opportunity in Chicago. Accomodations were exceptionally clean, staff service was excellent and restaurant staff and food were very good. Restaurant could use a more expansive menu, but with all the other options to dine, this was not a show-stopper. I make at least one visit per year with my family and wouldn´t even consider another lodging option! ~ Todd W., IL
My whole family stayed at the geneva lodge, it was in the fall, we rode bikes, swan, relaxed by the lake, and enjoyed having our little dog with us, the staff was so wonderful to us, like friends to us, we had no complaints at all, so we are on our way back for april trip and cant wait for the same wonderful experience. ~Brenda M., Ohio

My husband & I stayed here for a night out at the wineries with 2 other couples.I had booked our room on Expedia cause there were no rooms available when I called The Lodge to book. Expedia lost our reservation and didnt send it to the hotel. Upon checking in the girl at the front desk was very patient in tracking it down thru numerous calls to Expedia. She gave us our room and advised she would get this straightened out. The first room we were given was supposed to be non smoking, however someone had smoked in there. I called her at the front desk and the gentleman quickly assigned us to another room. We were very pleased with the service and attention from her. We will be back, however next time we will book direct, ahead of time. The Lodge is a beautiful, clean & comfortable place with wonderful employees. ~ Donna B., OH

What a wonderful place. We found a treasure practically right in our own backyard. The views are pristine and so restful...Taking a walk was a treat......Also the staff was so very helpful and friendly; we were almost taken aback at such courtesy!

My husband & I spent our 28th wedding anniversary at the Lodge. It was so beautiful and relaxing that we now have planned our summer vacation there with our entire family. The room was beautiful and very clean. I would like to suggest that perhaps adding an ottoman in the room to go along with the comfy chair. Recently, my wife Debbe and I spent a nite at The Lodge and had an excellent stay. We selected a suite, as we knew we would have guests visiting and found our stay rewarding.
